A wildly wrong date will break anything that uses ssl/tls, as certificates will be assumed to be either expired (if the date is in the future) or not yet valid (if the date is in the past). This apparently includes windows activation.
After restart, the windows activation message prompted me again to activated. What do I do now? Wait for the 30 days to be over and see if it works? I see you confirmed this in a message above, but can I do something to verify that it won't block access to my windows in 2 days when activation period expires?Thank you!Ana
Thanks for the tutorial. I have been trying to run a copy of windows XP on a Virtual Machine for a little while, and no matter what I tried it wasn't recognizing my product key, and I couldn't get it to activate at all. I followed your tutorial, and it seems to have worked with one minor glitch. Whenever I log on to the virtual Machine, it still brings me to the activation screen, but the first screen that pops up says "This copy of Windows is already active, Click OK to exit", so I click OK, and it promptly logs me off. Any suggestions?
Following these steps (Activate Now) worked very well with one hiccup: I still get the activation prompt every time - declares windows has been activated, but click OK and it logs the user out immediately. I'm curious to know if anyone has found a way through this.
My Windows copy stopped working and I'm trying to hack it again! But when I press yes in the question of activating, it says windows already activated and pressing ok brings me back to the login page! so I press enter to login and the message for activation pops up again! So I'm trapped into this circle!
start narrator (windowskey - U)select the link where it says "microsoft web page"it will start internet explorer - write the address "c:\windows\explorer.exe"click on start - run - regeditremove everything related to oobe and wpaevents, all keysrestart windows, boot with hirens boot cd to access drive Cgo to c:\windows\system32\oobe, replace msoobe.exe with c:\windows\explorer.exerestart windows xpsometimes it will prompt you for 30 days activation. when click on the prompt, an error message will say there's no such /a path. This works if you make significant hardware changes (a new motherboard) on the same windows xp system.voila, no more trial activation.
No security vulnerabilities in Chrome were exploited in the three years of Pwn2Own from 2009 to 2011. At Pwn2Own 2012, Chrome was defeated by a French team who used zero day exploits in the version of Flash shipped with Chrome to take complete control of a fully patched 64-bit Windows 7 PC using a booby-trapped website that overcame Chrome's sandboxing.
On Linux systems an unprivileged user is sufficient and can access most interesting information while especially on Microsoft Windows systems unprivileged users are very restricted and administrative users provide more results. An unprivileged user does not have access to the Microsoft Windows registry and the Microsoft Windows system folder \windows which contains the information on updates and patch levels.
Has anyone experienced an issue that "Adventure Guide" without pressing any button pops up eventually (sometimes 1x, but it may occur that 2-3x during a trash fight in M+)? Honestly its quite annoying. First I thought I'm pressing some buttons which trigger it, but then I changed the shortcut for that, afterward while we were waiting for 2 people to return it just opened itself 2x. Also some addons "prevent" doing an action and I cannot use my keybinds unless I disable the addons. This is madness. My FPS is somehow better than it was, but fluctuating as hell. In Oribos I get 50-300 FPS. At least before prepatch it was a consistent 145. If I did my job as "well" as these people at Blizzard I would be long time homeless by now. In our developer team we have 300x lesser people than Blizzard has, yet we never release anything in a state like that. This is a paid game, you would expect at least they don't give a damn about the quality..

2nd point If you are using nt5 such as windows 2000, XP server2003 etc. All you have to do is install say TV7 build 14536 or earlier first us it once and then upgrade. Once you have upgraded to teamviewer 9 (Note the ID will match the old version) and keep using until you start getting the dreaded 5 minute log off warning, uninstall it completely remove all traces from the registry and then change the harddrive volume id with volumeid.exe, Restart the computer after changing, install teamviewer 7 and you will now have a new ID and when you upgrade back to 9 again it will keep the id.
What you are saying is correct but not when it comes to windows xp. I have proven that in windows xp, as long as you install teamviewer 6 older version first then upgrade, it will trick tv 9 into keeping whatever id tv 6 If you want to exchange e-mails I will prove it. 2b1af7f3a8
